Manages the overall performance of Fleet Supervisors in their position requirements and objectives. Perform all the management/supervisory activities in absence of the Manager Fleet Operations with the daily operations of the Fleet. Applies knowledge of the business goals, activities, and application of operation resources to increase effectiveness.

What you will do:

Manages the daily activities and performance of Fleet Supervisors in hiring, training, scheduling, motivation, and evaluation of their team. Provides performance management guidance to Supervisors (coaching, career development, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions).

Work closely with Supervisors to foster a participatory and positive work environment in which employees are respected and appreciated by improving work relationships, building morale, increase employee commitment, engagement and productivity according to Club values.

Administer scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and cost-effective service delivery, approving overtime as necessary. Responsible for Staffing, including selecting technicians and supervisors, staff planning, the recommendation of seasonal changes and reporting relationships, and shift allocation.

Works to build relationships between internal operations, fleet, and contract garages, as appropriate, to enhance the ability to deliver Five Diamond Service. Identifies areas of opportunity for approved efficiency. Resolves road service delivery issues that escalate beyond the supervisory level.

Analyzes trends and metrics, in partnership with the Management and Supervisors, to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Ensure focus and objectives are met in all the employee work committees.

Monitor daily performance to required department standards.

Supports business, process, goal, and strategy transitions, and organizational changes with supervisors' and employees' acceptance.

Ensure and monitor growth and participation in the Fleet Career Path program taking into consideration all the requirements of the development of the program.

Identifies training needs and evaluates the performance of subordinate staff, ensuring adherence to department and Club policies and procedures; emphasizes Five Diamond Service and member satisfaction. Coordinate appropriate ongoing training classes efficiently without impacting member service and controlling costs.

Respond to fleet accidents and incidents, nightly, on call. Escalate as appropriate to ensure required documents are completed in compliance with all safety and Club protocol.

Responsible for timely resolution of member concerns, responding to complex inquiries and issues coordinating with Member Relations Department when necessary. Provide positive alternatives to members' concerns and identify when an exception to standard business practice may be warranted.

Responsible for the completion of various reports, including but not limited to; daily cash reports, daily battery revenue, tow revenue, and running reports out of the appropriate system for accuracy.

Responsible for ensuring the daily deposit is completed and safeguarding department revenue in accordance with Club cash handling policies and procedures.

Assist with the maintenance of accurate records and analyze statistical data to assist in the development of plans to increase productivity and reduce or maintain costs.

Performs periodic internal audit for inventory, ensuring adequate warehouse and on-truck supplies of needed equipment; informs management of reorder status.

Ensure that essential safety devices and personal protective equipment are provided and used on each job requiring them.

Represent the department at business and community functions.

Opens/closes the Fleet Operations Center as necessary, ensuring vehicles and buildings are safeguarded properly.

Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business and weather conditions as required.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $103,400 - 131,500 / year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, shift differentials and experience. Annual bonuses are offered to employees and certain roles are eligible to earn additional forms of compensation through monthly and/or quarterly incentives.
