Sierra LifeCare is now hiring for the 2026-2027 school year! Our organization is hiring a school nurse to support our students with health needs. As a School Nurse you will assist students to heal minor illnesses and injuries at school, as well as provide medical guidance to families on health matters. The school nurse should have an honors or bachelor's degree in nursing and enjoy working with children. You will serve as the liaison between students and the healthcare system. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the education sector. The goal is to nurture and promote healthy lifestyles through preventative measures, ongoing education, and prompt response to illness. Ultimately, you should monitor student growth and development to identify physical, social and emotional issues that may prevent optimal development.
At this time, we are NOT accepting new grads. You must have at least ONE year of nursing experience.
*We are currently looking for Nurses in (or willing to travel to) the Fort Lauderdale area.
School Hours : 8A-2P

- Prevent, identify and manage health related issues among students.
- Provide consultation services to students and their families on health-related issues.
- Provide first aid services for emergency situations like injuries and sudden illnesses.
-Must be a Registered Nurse with an active FLORIDA Nursing License.
-Must have an active Level 2 Background
