We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This position involves educating young learners, implementing age-appropriate activities, and supporting their emotional and social development. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with children to promote their welfare and growth while ensuring compliance with daycare regulations.
Available Shifts:
6am to 3pm
7am to 4pm
8am to 5pm
9am to 6pm
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate children in various subjects, including literacy education, through creative activities and hands-on learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of each child in the daycare setting.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Foster strong relationships with students, promoting trust and open communication.
Requirements
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational frameworks is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- Ability to engage children in meaningful activities that promote their development.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to child welfare and the ability to advocate for children's needs.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required at the time of hire.
