La Quinta Inn & Suites is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hotel experience who is looking to build a long-term career in hospitality with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Upsell room types and hotel amenities when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk experience is required.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Required
Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
