We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA with pediatric experience for our clinic team in Miami. This position requires a high level of care, professionalism, independence, excellent communication skills, and solid OT skills. I will provide direct and indirect supervision.
This requires a very independent therapist who will work with children ages 2 to 12 yrs with a variety of diagnoses such as ASD, developmental challenges, handwriting/ fine motor issues, coordination, sensory processing, auditory processing etc...
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services in clinic, home, and school settings
- Collaborate and communicate with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals
- Teach group classes as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
Requirements:
- Associate of Science in COTA
- Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA ) with experience in pediatric therapy
- Experience working in clinic, home, and school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
