Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects and new builds to ensure seamless electrical integration.
- Read schematics and technical drawings to plan wiring layouts and installation procedures accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes is essential for ensuring compliance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
- Additional handyman skills such as frame carpentry or general construction knowledge are a plus.
