We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic Tumbling Class Instructor to teach and supervise students of varying skill levels in tumbling and acrobatics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics, cheerleading, or dance, with the ability to teach proper form, promote safety, and foster a positive,inclusive environment. You will be responsible for planning and leading structured tumbling classes, ensuring student progression, and maintaining a high standard of safety and enthusiasm.
Tiny Tumblers: Ages 4–6 / 3:00PM-3:45PM (Basic entry level tumbling)
Tiny Tumblers: Ages 4–6 / 4:00PM-4:45PM (Basic entry level tumbling)
Terrific Tumblers: Ages 7–12 / 5:00-6:00PM (Basic entry level tumbling)
Tumbling Titans: Ages 7-12 / 6:00PM-7:00PM (Basic entry level tumbling)
Work Schedule:
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays 2:15 - 7:30
Key responsibilities
● Lead engaging and progressive tumbling classes for age groups ranging toddlers to pre-teens, and from beginners to advanced
● Instruct students in proper technique for tumbling skills including rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, back handsprings, tucks, aerials, and more, based on skill-level
● Use spotting techniques and progressions to ensure safe skill development ● Encourage and support each student’s progress while maintaining a positive and motivating learning environment
● Modify instructions to accommodate students with different learning needs, experience levels, or physical abilities
● Track student development and provide regular feedback to students and/or parents ● Greets students and families warmly, foster relationships, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians about progress and concerns
● Collaborate with other instructors and staff to maintain consistency in teaching, practices, rules, and curriculum
Qualifications
● Prior experience of tumbling, gymnastics, or cheerleading
● Strong understanding of tumbling technique, progression drills, and spotting methods
● Enthusiastic, responsible, and capable of managing groups of children
