Junior Engineer responsibilities:
- Creates CAD models of components using current and accepted practices and procedures.
- Designs die castings, sand castings, permanent mold casting, extrusions, and injection molded parts along with associated drawings.
- Designs sheet metal components, brackets, and other parts along with associated drawings.
- Creates other detailed component drawings.
- Manages various projects as assigned.
- Confers with engineering and other staff to determine design modifications for product improvement.
- Creates and/or modifies BOM assemblies. ? Issues ECN’s as required for drawings, parts and BOM changes.
- Creates shop assembly and customer installation instructions.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- Internship experience to 0-2 years of experience
- Proficient computer skills in Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excel Macros, Access database knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Pay: $70,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
