Duties
- Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features.
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and tree care to keep outdoor areas looking their best
- Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support proper landscape maintenance.
- Maintain grounds by performing snow plowing during winter months and ensuring safety during outdoor work activities.
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscape equipment operation is essential.
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and plant care techniques.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
- Excellent physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions accurately.
