Ambulatory Tech (Clinical Assistant) – Outpatient Care
Looking for a rewarding healthcare career where you can make a difference every day? Join our team as an Ambulatory Tech, a hands-on clinical role supporting providers and delivering exceptional care to patients in our outpatient clinics.
What You'll Do:
- Assist providers during patient exams and procedures
- Escort patients, obtain vital signs, and perform diagnostic testing and specimen collection
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient patient care
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Support scheduling, registration, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and infection prevention standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service while helping create a positive patient experience
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-focused environment
- Associate's degree preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic medical records is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
