Title: Point of Sale Technician
Point of Sale Experience Preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:- Network connectivity and security (wired and wireless)- Operating systems (current, past, Windows)- PC Hardware (building, troubleshooting, and testing)- Friendly and patient demeanor when dealing with customers
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Troubleshoot network connectivity- Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace point of sale / POS / PC / computer hardware- Image, reimage, backup point of sale equipment using Acronis and Ghost- Perform cleaning duties associated with preventative maintenance of POS equipment- Daily interaction with customers to resolve OS, network, software, and hardware issues- Reassembling hardware upon completion of repair- POS system project planning- POS System installation and training
