Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders in a lively, engaging manner
- Operate POS systems Clover POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and attention to detail
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food service zones by bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation
- Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Previous restaurant or retail experience involving serving or cashiering is advantageous
