As we open our Boston location, we are seeking experienced Lead Bartender and Lead Sommelier to join our opening team and help create unforgettable dining experiences.

Position Overview
We are hiring both Lead Bartender and Lead Sommelier to lead their respective teams while providing outstanding guest experiences. These leadership positions play a key role in maintaining LPM's high standards of service, mentoring team members, and ensuring seamless daily beverage operations.
ResponsibilitiesLead Bartender
- Lead the bar team during service and set the standard for hospitality and professionalism.
- Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to LPM standards.
- Deliver personalized beverage recommendations and exceptional guest service.
- Train, coach, and mentor bartenders and barbacks.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily bar operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with Massachusetts regulations.
Lead Sommelier
- Lead the restaurant's wine program and oversee daily wine service.
- Provide expert wine recommendations and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Train and mentor sommeliers and front-of-house team members on wine knowledge and service standards.
- Maintain expert knowledge of wines, vintages, regions, and producers.
- Assist with wine selection, inventory management, ordering, and cellar organization.
- Ensure proper wine storage, handling, and presentation.
- Conduct staff wine tastings and educational sessions.
- Support private events, wine dinners, and special beverage experiences.
QualificationsLead Bartender
- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in an upscale, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, champagne, and craft beverages.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Lead Sommelier
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sommelier experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or Michelin-starred restaurants.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Old World and New World wines, particularly French wines.
- Strong expertise in food and wine pairing.
- Sommelier certification is a plus.
