Position Summary
The HR Generalist is a critical, trust-based role responsible for upholding the organization’s People Brand Standards, protecting the integrity of the workplace through thorough compliance oversight, and handling sensitive HR matters including investigations, employee incidents, and workers’ compensation claim support. This position also plays a central role in delivering a consistent and professional new employee orientation experience. The HR Generalist must be highly detail-oriented, operate with sound HR judgment, and maintain an unwavering commitment to confidentiality and fairness across all functions. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred, as this role regularly engages with a diverse workforce. Supporting functions such as interviewing and training round out this role as a well-rounded HR resource for employees and leadership alike.

Qualifications:
Required
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2+ years of HR generalist, HR coordinator, or HR support experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting or directly supporting workplace investigations and employee relations matters.
- Experience with HR compliance oversight, auditing, or policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with employee incident reporting and workers’ compensation processes.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and related regulations).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to produce thorough, accurate documentation under pressure.
- High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Strong proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy. Strongly Preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is strongly preferred. Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
- PHR, aPHR, or SHRM-CP certification, or active pursuit thereof.
- Experience in a multi-site, field-based, or high-volume HR environment.
- Familiarity with I-9 compliance, and onboarding best practices.
- Prior experience supporting workers’ compensation claim coordination or return-to-work programs.
- Experience facilitating HR training or orientation in a bilingual (English/Spanish) setting.
