Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking Carpenters to join a collaborative and highly respected facilities team. This is a full-time onsite contract opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where safety, reliability, and quality workmanship are top priorities.
You will support facility maintenance and construction needs by installing, repairing, and modifying building structures and finishes while working alongside a dedicated group of professionals in a setting that follows nationally recognized safety and performance standards. Multiple positions may be available, offering the opportunity to be part of a strong, team-oriented practice.
What You’ll Do
- Alter, install, and repair walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, trim, and finishes.
- Construct drywall partitions, temporary wood structures, cabinets, shelving, bulletin boards, work benches, and other custom fixtures.
- Install acoustical ceilings and floor coverings, including carpet and related finish materials.
- Build forms for concrete walks, curbing, steps, and other facility projects.
- Complete daily check-in/check-out, service logs, timecards, and progress updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Carpentry experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, or similarly complex facility environments.
- OSHA certification required.
- Ability to work with drywall, wood framing, doors, windows, flooring, ceilings, laminate/Formica, paneling, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
- Strong attention to safety, documentation, and coordination with onsite facility personnel.
- Ability to wear required PPE and perform hands-on physical work throughout the shift.
Schedule & Coverage
- Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- This is a full-time onsite contract role with work performed during regular business hours.
- Overtime may be available only with advance approval based on operational needs.
- The assignment is structured for an initial performance period with potential extension options.
