Bouzy is seeking full-time and part-time bartenders who can deliver strong beverage execution, attentive guest service, and a polished bar experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages accurately, supporting service-well tickets, maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar, and creating a professional, hospitality-driven experience for guests seated at the bar. A strong bartender in this role combines product knowledge, urgency, consistency, and sound guest judgment.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe, measurement, and pour standards
- Execute service-well tickets accurately and efficiently
- Use proper glassware, garnishes, and presentation standards for all beverages
- Maintain pars and readiness for garnishes, bev naps, straws, and other bar supplies
- Stock liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products in their proper locations
- Maintain consistent beverage quality and product standards throughout the shift
- Provide courteous, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar
- Answer guest questions about beverages, food, and menu items with confidence and accuracy
- Recommend food and beverage items in a way that supports the guest experience and builds sales with integrity
- Professionally handle guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments
- Communicate guest needs and feedback to management as appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar throughout the shift
- Keep the bar top, stools, floors, and visible guest areas clean and presentable
- Keep the guest line of sight clear and polished
- Perform assigned opening and closing side work
- Maintain proper stock, organization, and cleanliness at all times
- Communicate 86’d items to managers in a timely manner
- Accurately account for all drinks poured and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Coordinate food service with the kitchen and support team
- Maintain proper health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ensure CHG and Bouzy standards are upheld
- Assist in training new bar team members
- Assist in training servers on beverage knowledge and bar-related service standards
- Continue learning about beverage, food, hospitality, and industry trends
- Operate as part of the team, helping others and requesting help when needed
- Prior bartending experience required
- Strong working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beer
- Strong working knowledge of restaurant service and hospitality standards
- Ability to execute drinks consistently and accurately under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide professional guest service and handle guest issues appropriately
- Ability to stay organized and maintain cleanliness and standards throughout the shift
- Ability to work as part of a team and support restaurant operations beyond the bar when needed
- High-volume bartending experience encouraged
- Wine knowledge is a major plus
- Strong knowledge of food and culinary terms
- Ability to guide guest choices confidently and sell with integrity
- Ability to read the room and recognize where support is needed
