Bazin Brothers Trucking has been building roads, municipal infrastructure, sitework, excavation, paving, crushing, and trucking projects throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts for more than 45 years. What You'll Do
As our Project Engineer, you'll work directly with our estimators/project managers and foremen on every phase of construction. This is a hands-on position that combines project coordination with construction surveying, GPS machine control, quantity tracking, and regular jobsite support
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with project coordination from pre-construction through closeout.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and owners.
- Perform construction layout and surveying as needed.
- Create and maintain GPS machine control files.
- Track quantities, production, and project progress.
- Review plans and specifications.
- Support scheduling, logistics, and project reporting.
- Visit jobsites regularly to work alongside foremen and field crews.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Heavy civil construction experience is a plus.
- Surveying and GPS machine control experience is preferred, but we're willing to train someone with the right attitude.
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license.
