Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Income Tax Analyst to support corporate tax compliance, tax provision, and reporting activities. This role is ideal for a professional with foundational experience in corporate taxation and an intermediate understanding of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Master's Degree in Taxation and/or CPA designation preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare supporting workpapers and consolidated federal and state corporate income tax returns
- Identify opportunities to minimize income tax liabilities and improve tax efficiencies
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions, including related journal entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with the calculation and preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments
- Prepare and support non-income tax filings, including sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, excise tax, and other business tax filings
- Conduct tax research and document technical tax positions
- Assist with federal, state, and local tax audits, notices, and inquiries
- Support special projects and other tax-related matters as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting, private industry, or a combination of both
- Experience with consolidated tax filings and multi-state tax compliance preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state corporate income tax laws and regulations
- Familiarity with ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
- Experience with tax compliance and tax provision software; OneSource Income Tax experience is a plus
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
