Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and responding promptly to inquiries or special requests.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper cash register procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting food preparation when needed.
- Promote sales through upselling menu items and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or fast food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in quick service restaurants or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous.

Pay: $11.50 - $17.00 per hour
