The Gilliard Group is a dedicated network licensed and accredited early childhood education centers, serving families across multiple locations. With over 30 years of experience, we focus on providing a rich foundation in early education through engaging, developmentally appropriate programs for children from six weeks to ten years old.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives across all centers. This role offers the opportunity to shape our workforce, foster a positive employee environment, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will be passionate about talent management, organizational development, and creating a supportive workplace culture that aligns with our mission of delivering exceptional early education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using platforms such as Paychex or ADP.
- Lead performance management initiatives, including employee evaluations, training & development programs, and succession planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning requirements.
- Coordinate organizational design and change management projects to optimize workforce efficiency using project management skills.
- Process payroll .
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee evaluation, and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and foster positive employee relations.
- Experience with benefits administration and HR sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
