Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Lakeland, Florida
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Shift: PRN
Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team on a PRN basis. If you are passionate about helping residents regain mobility, independence, and confidence, we’d love to hear from you.
Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering safe and effective therapy sessions.
Follow departmental policies, including maintaining a professional dress code, to foster a respectful environment.
Ensure resident safety by adhering to strict safety protocols and infection control measures.
Keep therapy areas clean, organized, and stocked with essential equipment.
Promptly report hazardous conditions or faulty equipment for timely resolution.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling bodily fluids to ensure safety.
Immediately notify your supervisor regarding missing or unclear labels or Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting.
