Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical and HVAC Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and control panels using schematics and technical manuals.
- Service and repair HVAC systems such as air conditioning units.
- Read and interpret schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC/R equipment including cleaning filters, replacing parts, welding components when necessary, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate testing tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify system integrity during diagnostics.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades involving electrical wiring, HVAC components, or plumbing fixtures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for ongoing maintenance plan.
- Support maintenance efforts by addressing mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Utilize field service skills to respond swiftly to emergency repairs or system failures on-site or at remote locations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician or HVAC technician with a strong background in field service.
- Service technician experience with hands-on repair of HVAC systems—including air conditioning or appliance repair—is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and HVAC principles is essential for accurate diagnostics and effective troubleshooting.
- Experience working in field service roles with a focus on equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings is advantageous.
- Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters or other electrical testing devices confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for travel between sites; experience driving <PERSON> drivers is a plus. Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
