About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our production team in bringing collections from sample to delivery. You'll be the connective tissue between design, sourcing, vendors, and operations—tracking samples, maintaining production records, and helping keep every style on schedule and on standard. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their fashion career who wants broad exposure to the apparel production lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Track and manage the sample lifecycle (proto, fit, SMS, top-of-production) and log status updates across all styles
- Maintain and update line sheets, tech packs, bills of materials, and the production calendar
- Coordinate with mills, trim suppliers, and factories on material orders, lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals
- Prepare and organize fit session materials
- Monitor production timelines and flag delays, capacity issues, or quality risks to the Production Manager
- Process and follow up on purchase orders; reconcile quantities, costs, and delivery dates
- Inspect incoming samples and goods against approved standards; help document quality issues
- Manage labeling, archiving, and shipping samples to internal teams and partners
- Maintain accurate records in the company's system and shared trackers
- Provide general administrative support to the production team as needed
What You'll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or a related fashion role
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- Strong organizational skills and genuine attention to detail
- Working knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and basic measurement/spec reading
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets plus
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to follow up persistently and professionally
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and pivot when priorities shift
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tech packs
- Experience working with overseas vendors and an understanding of production calendars and lead times
- Knowledge of compliance/testing requirements
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
