Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with any and all needs when calling into our facility
- Collect and verify patient demographic information and insurance details accurately
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to optimize daily patient flow
- Explain billing procedures, co-payments, and required documentation clearly to patients
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations
- Answer incoming calls promptly, address inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating electronic health records
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
