Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy retail pharmacy team. This is a temp-to-direct hire opportunity with daytime hours and a flexible, rotating schedule. Ideal candidates will have strong retail pharmacy experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM
- Shifts may run as late as 8:00 PM
- Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays
- No weekends initially (may change in the future)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Support inventory management and medication stocking
Required Qualifications
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pioneer RX system
