Maintenance Purpose:
An Industrial Maintenance Technician maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Job Duties:
o Perform minor building, HVAC, Plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
o Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment and the replacement of any defective part on said equipment.
o Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
o Troubleshooting of all electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and the repairs of said.
o Fabrication and electrical control building to support production.
o To coordinate maintenance works with production employees and supervisors whenever necessary.
o Maintains a clean and safe work place by complying with company SOP.
o To work with Machine Tech’s when new equipment comes in or when Tech. assistance is brought in to the Plant or if needed to be in communication with technical support either by phone or by email.
o Installation of new equipment to the standards of the Manufacture.
o To assist in the inventory of all spare parts and report when deficient in quantity’s
o Complete documentation of machinery and SOP.
o Operate forklift for machine/equipment moves.
o Required to Request quotes for any necessary parts from machine vendors, requisition those parts from Maintenance Purchasing.
o Maintain documentation of machine manuals.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required; Trade or Technical Certification/Degree preferred
Must have 3-5yrs experience in a maintenance field.
Working knowledge of PLC and PLC Trouble shooting a plus.
Additional skills preferred
Electrical license
HVAC certification
Welding certification
