About the Role
As a Thermal Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by managing furnace equipment to harden, temper, and anneal metal components. You will ensure that our production output meets rigorous quality standards through precise temperature control, material inspection, and proactive equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities-
Operate and monitor industrial heat-treating furnaces, induction machines, and vacuum equipment to achieve precise metallurgical properties.

Execute complex tooling setups and adjustments using hand and power tools to maintain continuous production flow.

Conduct thorough quality inspections, including hardness testing, gauge verification, and blueprint analysis to ensure part compliance.

Proactively monitor furnace performance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.

Maintain detailed production records and quality documentation to ensure traceability and process consistency.

Uphold a safe and organized work environment by performing daily 6S tasks and adhering to strict environmental and safety protocols.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment challenges and ensure high-quality output for our customers.

Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing precision measuring tools.

Strong commitment to safety standards and the consistent use of required personal protective equipment.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Prior experience operating heat-treat furnaces or similar thermal processing machinery.

Familiarity with SPC tracking and quality management systems.

Experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy industrial equipment or forklifts.
