Job Summary
We are seeking a Global Freight Coordinator for a direct hire, full-time opportunity in San Clemente, CA. This position is open due to growth and is an ideal role for an early-career logistics professional with hands-on global freight experience across inbound and outbound shipments. No more than 3 years required in this kind of capacity.
The Global Freight Coordinator will support international and domestic freight operations across ocean, air, ground, FTL, LTL, and intermodal transportation. This role works closely with internal logistics, operations, procurement, inventory, and customer service teams, as well as external freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PL partners.
Must haves:
- Inbound and outbound freight experience
- Provide tracking information to internal teams and monitor international and domestic shipments, communicate status updates, and resolve delays, exceptions, and service issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with customs documents, freight terms (e.g., Incoterms®).
- 1-3 years experience in global freight management, logistics operations, or freight forwarding functions.
- This is a beginner level / early career role - we are looking for 3 to 4 years in this capacity. No more, but the skillset listed above are must haves.
- Inbound and outbound experience - must read on the resume
- Demonstrated experience executing multi-modal global freight movements and managing freight partners.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
