Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active 310 School Social Worker credential.
- Recent experience working with children in an educational or healthcare environment, particularly elementary-aged students.
- Strong understanding of the unique social, emotional, and behavioral challenges school-aged children may face.
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and collaborate with educators and families.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to elementary students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that promote student success.
- Develop and implement individualized support and intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Serve as an advocate for students, connecting them and their families to community resources when appropriate.
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
