Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based practices
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions
- Stay up to date on current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling
- Mental Health Therapist Pre-Licensed or Licensed
- ✔ mental health counselor with master’s degree ready to obtain hours for licensure (eligible for licensure in NYS)
- ✔ Experience with DSM-5 diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
- ✔ Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making
- ✔ Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining professionalism and boundaries
- ✔ A passion for mental health, personal growth, and helping others succeed
