Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating billing and claims processes within a home health setting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to face-to-face guidelines when coordinating care. The Home Health Biller will also support pre-claim and post-claim review processes to facilitate smooth billing operations.
Duties
- Coordinate care assignments, admissions, and visits in accordance with face-to-face guidelines to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures.
- Manage the billing process for home health services, including preparing and submitting claims accurately and promptly.
- Understand and assist with Pre-Claim Review procedures to verify documentation before claims submission.
- Support Post-Claim Review activities by reviewing denied or adjusted claims and facilitating necessary corrections or follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Stay updated on changes in billing regulations, insurance policies, and industry best practices related to home health services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within a home health or similar healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of pre-claim review and post-claim review processes.
- Ability to adhere strictly to face-to-face guidelines when coordinating patient care and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and claims processing.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding standards, and insurance policies relevant to home health services.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
