Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server to join us at Kane's Cattle Co. Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast to process transactions swiftly and accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Use reservation management tools to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Server
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast
- Culinary experience or background in food industry operations preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest services excellence
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
