Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver (no CDL required) to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. This position requires OTR driving where you may be road running for days or weeks at a time (sleeper is provided). Working with us offers an opportunity to be an essential part of our delivery operations, ensuring products reach their destinations promptly while maintaining the highest safety standards. We pay 25% of weekly gross with potential of increase upon high-performance, quality, and effort. Routes are primarily East Coast and Midwest.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Follow designated routes for route driving efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate routes and resolve issues
- Maintain logs and delivery documents
- Load and unload cargo using a liftgate or manual handling techniques
- Secure cargo using provided equipment (e.g., E-tracks, straps, blankets as needed)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driver’s license for box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries
- Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading cargo using pallet jacks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Familiarity with route planning, load securing, and safety protocols for delivery driving
- Physical stamina to handle moving cargo and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience (Box trucks, OTR preferred)
- Must be able to provide a clean MVR
- Must be able to provide DOT Medical Card
- Must be able to pass TSA (e.g., Real ID or Passport)
- Reliable, disciplined, and on-time driving habits
- Experience with Motive ELD systems or other similar GPS tracking systems
- Safety & Compliance is Non-Negotiable
