Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning environment
- Support children’s developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share progress updates and collaborate on individual learning needs
- Incorporate special education techniques when working with children requiring additional support or accommodations
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction
Skills
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and special education strategies
- Expertise in classroom management, behavior management, and lesson planning techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and students
- Ability to implement literacy education programs and teaching physical education activities
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and Montessori educational approaches
- Experience caring for toddlers and managing classroom activities for young learners
- Competence in using standardized testing tools to assess student progress
- Passion for early childhood education with a focus on child welfare and holistic development
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
