Desert Design Group is a family owned business, specializing in furniture manufacturing in the Greater Scottsdale area, with over 20 years of experience.
We are looking for an experienced seamstress with at least 5 years of experience in the industry of furniture manufacturing. At Desert Design Group, you will be working alongside a team of high-skilled people who are all focused on developing high-end furniture, working with luxury interior designers.
Job Description:
- Operates sewing machine
- Draw patterns (optional)
- Sewing covers for upholstered seat cushions
- Cuts new material
- Operates a walking foot sewing machine.
- Develop specific plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish proper order shipment dates.
- Check the completion of work and quality. Identify and communicate possible quality discrepancies to other employees.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
- Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift.
Job Type: Part-time
