Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service to create a positive first impression
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal flow during busy hours
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders and payments
- Handle cashier duties with precision, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and issuing receipts
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs seamlessly
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering inquiries or making reservations
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities are essential for success in this role
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience can be advantageous but is not required
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward guest interactions
