We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team at a bustling dog daycare facility in Birmingham, AL. As an Attendant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our daycare, ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of our furry guests. Club Canine shares a facility with Cahaba Mountain Brook Animal Clinic, which was established in 1968! We have a breadth of experience and have the ability to work with medical staff to ensure the utmost safety of our staff and patients!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor a large group of dogs indoors and outdoors, observing behavior, maintaining order, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including cleaning up after dogs, maintaining clean play areas inside and outside.
- Assist in managing tasks, and training to ensure smooth operation of the daycare.
- Utilize computer skills to maintain records, record attendance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and communication with clients.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and effectively communicate with staff members, providing feedback, and support as needed to work as a team member.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies to uphold the highest standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with dogs and comfortably being around a large group of dogs.
- Responsible, dependable, and energetic individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff members and clients.
- Must have their own transportation to commute to the facility.
- Available to work as needed as a fill in. Hours include weekdays and possible weekends.
- Wage and Application Process:
- Starting wage $13 per hour, commensurate with experience.
