Schedule: 40 hours/week + on-call
Saint Joe’s is seeking a compassionate and experienced Respite Clinical Supervisor (RN) to support daily operations of our Respite Program. In partnership with the Assistant Director of Nursing, this role ensures high-quality, compliant care for individuals with developmental and complex medical needs while leading and mentoring staff.
- Oversee respite operations, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance
- Supervise and support clinical and DSP staff; assist with scheduling and coverage
- Coordinate admissions/discharges and communicate with internal departments
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing staff development
- Monitor documentation, complete progress notes, and report incidents
- Deliver direct nursing care as needed (medications, treatments, tube feedings, personal care)
- Support delegated nursing in ICF and community respite programs
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Active RN license (Ohio) required
- 2+ years’ experience with individuals with complex medical needs (pediatric experience preferred)
- Supervisory and employee relations experience
- Knowledge of ODH, ODODD, and ODJFS regulations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license
