Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on minor engine repairs, powertrains, suspensions, and steering components with precision.
- Service vehicles through, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and suspension work.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
- Repair or replace auto parts and perform tasks as needed to restore vehicle integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies to ensure top-tier service.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions.
- Certification in automotive technology or related fields is a plus; ongoing training encouraged to stay current with industry advancements. Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
