Wise Villa Winery is looking to hire an energetic, friendly, and upbeat Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. Wise Villa Winery is an award-winning winery located in beautiful Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will have previous wine sales experience. Additionally, you will work closely with our sales and marketing division to achieve its marketing goals and objectives in the local market as a member of our Demo Team. It will be your job to familiarize yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals in order to better represent Wise Villa to the public. You will also be responsible for delivering orders to our clientele in Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Sacramento Areas, Woodland, and a few additional local locations.
This is a combined part-time position with the potential to move to full-time. Your beginning compensation will be $17.00 per hour plus commissions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Development, execution, and success of the Wise Villa Winery Brands portfolio throughout all Broad market channels.
- Manage accounts in an assigned territory.
- Establish & maintain rapport with store/restaurant managers, wine department buyers/managers, and other pertinent personnel.
- Open new accounts, both independent off & on premise.
- Sell list & by the glass placements at restaurant accounts.
- Complete daily preplans, recaps, and distribution reports.
- Identify prospective buyers, lead generation, and conversions.
- Contact new and existing buyers to discuss their current and future needs.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and create sales agreements to match.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with buyers to continue positive relationship.
- Work effectively with distributor personnel and market accounts to achieve company goals.
- Convey company objectives and marketing strategy to distributor and market.
- Conduct on premise staff trainings and in store tastings.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with key accounts.
- Provide weekly/monthly updates to Company.
- Complete all required paperwork for sales documentation and tracking of sales.
- Complete sales reports and submit them in a timely manner.

Setting up and breaking down displays at your work site

Tracking and restocking the inventory used for the work site

Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner.

Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.

Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the wine industry
- Strong knowledge of wines and varietals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for the global wine industry.
- Basic computer proficiency with knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Vinsuite a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
- Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals.
