ABOUT THE ACNE LAB
The Acne Lab is not a traditional spa environment.
We are a structured acne management company focused on helping clients achieve clear, healthy skin through education, consistency, and long-term strategy — not quick fixes.
Many of our clients come to us after years of frustration with prescriptions, products, diets, and inconsistent routines. Our role is to guide them through a calm, organized, step-by-step process that combines science-based skincare with structured systems and ongoing support.
We are looking for a long-term team member who values professionalism, consistency, education, and meaningful client transformation.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Summer Schedule (June–August)
Monday–Thursday | 9:00am–6:00pm
Fall–Spring Schedule (September–May)
Monday–Thursday | 9:00am–6:00pm
Every Other Friday | 9:00am–4:00pm
This schedule creates consistent 3-day weekends throughout most of the year while maintaining strong work-life balance and provider support.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Phase 1 — Paid Training & Onboarding
- 2-week onboarding program
- Paid at $20/hour
Phase 2 — Supported Clinical Ramp (First 90 Days)
- $25/hour
- Approximately 34 hours/week
- Hands-on mentorship and structured training
Phase 3 — Acne Specialist Role (4 days/week @ 34hrs)
- $40,000 salaried non-exempt base compensation
- Performance incentives

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Client Treatments & Clinical Care
- Perform structured, protocol-based facial treatments according to appointment type and treatment plan
- Execute treatments with consistency, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Follow Colorado sanitation and safety standards
- Maintain accurate client documentation and treatment notes
Client Education & Support
- Guide clients through The Acne Lab’s structured homecare routines and acne management systems
- Educate clients using The Acne Lab’s methodology for product usage, routine sequencing, and consistency
- Reinforce realistic expectations and long-term treatment success
- Support clients with calm, clear, and professional communication
Practice Standards & Operations
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness and organization
- Prepare treatment rooms according to protocols
- Assist with inventory and operational support
- Participate in ongoing education and team development
- Contribute to a positive, professional, client-centered environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Current Colorado Esthetician License
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work within structured systems
- Team-oriented mindset
- Strong track record of reliability and accountability
Preferred
- Personal acne or skin transformation journey
- Interest in corrective skincare and acne management
- Passion for education and long-term skin health
- Interest in ongoing learning and professional growth
