Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks in residential settings. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform residential painting, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret schematics for various repair and maintenance projects.
- Supervise and coordinate with other team members on larger projects.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or installations.
- Provide leadership on job sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude while interacting with clients and addressing their needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance person services or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience supervising teams or projects is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Customer service experience is highly desirable, ensuring client satisfaction throughout all interactions.
