Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Alignment Technician! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing precise wheel alignments and related diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle handling, safety, and performance. Duties
- Perform wheel alignments on a wide range of vehicles using state-of-the-art alignment equipment and schematics.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems, powertrain issues, and suspension components to identify root causes of alignment problems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to adjust suspension components, replace worn parts, and ensure precise alignment specifications.
- Interpret technical schematics and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration procedures to accurately align vehicles with modern safety features.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire balancing, brake inspections, and all preventatives.
- Document all diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and alignment specifications in detailed service reports & software.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and schematics for modern vehicles equipped with advanced safety features.
- Experience working on diesel engines, powertrain components, and auto body repairs is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, vehicle maintenance practices, and the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Prior experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
- Strong understanding of automotive service standards, including wheel alignment techniques and vehicle safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
