Overview
Join our innovative team as a Wireless Architect, where you will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge wireless network solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of enterprise connectivity by leveraging your expertise in network architecture, security, and advanced wireless technologies. As a key driver of our technology infrastructure, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance wireless systems that meet evolving business needs. Your passion for technology and problem-solving will empower organizations to operate seamlessly in a connected world.
Duties
- Design and develop comprehensive wireless network architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and cloud infrastructures such as AWS and Azure.
- Lead SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) implementation projects to optimize network performance and security across multiple sites.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches (including Cisco Nexus), Juniper devices, Meraki solutions, and other networking hardware to ensure robust connectivity.
- Implement advanced network security protocols including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), Cisco ASA firewalls, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), IPsec encryption, and firewall policies to safeguard data integrity.
- Develop and maintain network protocols such as BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), QoS (Quality of Service), DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), TCP/IP stack, and TCP for reliable data transmission.
- Collaborate with software development teams utilizing scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, and automation tools within DevOps frameworks to streamline network management and system design.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex network issues involving load balancers, system design flaws, or security breaches while maintaining high availability standards.
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools for network management and analytics; implement improvements through CI/CD pipelines to enhance system reliability.
- Contribute to the development of scalable system designs that incorporate virtualization technologies such as VMware and UNIX/Linux environments for versatile deployment options.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in computer networking with a strong focus on wireless architecture, LAN/WAN design, and security protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco routers/switches implementation, including Cisco Nexus series; Juniper devices is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN implementation, MPLS networks, BGP routing protocols, EIGRP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewall configuration, and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and Azure; experience integrating these platforms into enterprise networks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, IP networking concepts, QoS mechanisms, and system design principles.
- Skills in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for automation; experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or UNIX/Linux systems for infrastructure deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently under pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE in Routing & Switching or Security are preferred but not mandatory.
