A day in your workboots: You start with a safety huddle, then make a quick pass through the plant—checking the Travelift, loaders, lift trucks, and production machinery. A crane throws a fault code; you trace it, dismantle the assembly that’s causing trouble, replace a worn component, and reassemble to spec. Before lunch, you swap from heavy equipment to a pickup truck oil change and inspection. In the afternoon, you adjust a hydraulic circuit on a tractor, rebuild a carburetor for a small internal combustion engine, and finish with a facilities round—tightening a motor mount, replacing a light fixture, and touching up paint where needed.
