Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our hospitality environment. This role is vital in ensuring that guest areas, guest rooms, and public spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will inspire and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, implement efficient cleaning procedures, and uphold exceptional hospitality standards to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver outstanding cleaning services across all hotel areas
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and quality control procedures to ensure consistent standards
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
- Oversee laundry operations including linen management, guest laundry services, and inventory control
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Manage supply inventories, order cleaning supplies, and maintain equipment to optimize operational efficiency
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly to enhance overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning products, and janitorial equipment
- Experience with laundry operations and linen management in a hospitality environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and hygiene regulations
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience is highly preferred
