What You'll Be Doing
- Review mortgage loan files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Request and track documentation needed to move loans efficiently through the process
- Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and internal teams regarding loan status and conditions
- Order and manage appraisals, title work, flood certifications, and other third-party services
- Review settlement statements and closing documents for accuracy
- Monitor loan pipelines and ensure regulatory compliance
- Sign off on conditions and prepare files for underwriting review
- Maintain data integrity within the loan origination system
- Stay current on investor guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company procedures
- Assist in preparing pipeline and closing reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage processing experience
- Experience with Reverse Mortgages preferred (or a strong desire to learn)
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and investor guidelines
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with mortgage loan origination systems preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
