We're Looking for Professionals, Not Just Drivers
At Heartland Freight, we don't hire just anyone with a license. We're building a team of dependable professionals who take pride in their work, represent our company well, and understand that every delivery reflects our reputation.
We're currently hiring experienced 26' Box Truck Drivers for dedicated routes with consistent work.
What We're Looking For
You must have at least 6 months of verifiable 26' box truck experience. This is not an entry-level position. We need drivers who are comfortable behind the wheel, understand delivery operations, and can work independently.
Drivers should be experienced with:
- Operating liftgates safely
- Loading, securing, and unloading freight
- Using pallet jacks and delivery equipment
- Providing excellent customer service at every stop
Some routes require light assembly of appliances or other products inside customers' homes or businesses. If you're willing to go the extra mile and aren't afraid to work with your hands, you'll fit in well here.

Hiring Requirements
All applicants must successfully complete:
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Criminal background check
Our Background Policy
We believe people deserve opportunities.
Having a felony does not automatically disqualify you from employment. However, you must be honest during the hiring process. Many of our customers have different security requirements. Some locations allow drivers with felony convictions, while others do not.
Being upfront allows us to place you on routes where you can succeed. Dishonesty during the hiring process is what will disqualify an applicant, not necessarily their past.
