Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our cleaning and custodial operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across our facilities. Duties
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, providing clear direction, training, and motivation to ensure efficient service delivery
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with industry standards for sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee industrial and commercial cleaning operations, including janitorial tasks, laundry services, and specialized sanitation procedures
- Monitor cleanliness levels across all areas, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices to protect staff and guests while maintaining a hazard-free environment
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere through effective management communication, coaching, and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, safety regulations, and management of janitorial operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly
- Excellent customer service skills to address guest or client needs promptly and professionally
- Experience managing inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or training in sanitation, safety procedures, or management are preferred
