QA/QC Manager

Position Summary
Signs & Decal Corp. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality across architectural signage, custom metal fabrication, architectural glass, branded environments, and specialty construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products—whether manufactured in-house or outsourced—meet company standards, client specifications, approved shop drawings, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and inspection processes in conjunction with senior management.
- Maintain certification and calibration of all measuring and inspection equipment.
- Inspect incoming materials, fabrication, finishing, assembly, and completed products.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Ensure quality of architectural signage, metal fabrication, glass systems, and specialty products.
- Conduct final inspections prior to shipment and installation.
- Perform field inspections and assist with punch-list resolution.
- Manage quality inspections of outsourced fabrication and vendor-produced work.
- Conduct vendor audits and maintain vendor quality scorecards.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Production, and Installation teams to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience in signage, metal fabrication, architectural glass, construction, or manufacturing.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, finishing, installation, and quality inspection processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
